We offer a farm-based therapeutic learning program utilizing our goats, horses, chickens, guinea pigs and dogs to enhance clients cognitive, social and emotional well being. We aim to take advantage of the proven mental health benefits of human animal interactions through working in small groups and with individuals on our farm.
Our neuroscientist/therapist designed curriculums work to help tweens, teens and adults cultivate mindfulness, sharpen executive function skills, and develop coping strategies for daily stressors and emotions.
Our curriculum uses proven cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in conjunction with our farm animals. We focus a lot on MINDFULNESS; a practice that encourages clients to pay attention to thoughts, actions and their body as they interact with their environment, peers and our animals. This practice helps to manage, stress, cope with illness, reduce anxiety and depression and is a great practice around our animals. Many people report a greater enthusiasm for life as well as increased self-esteem and ability to relax after learning to practice mindfulness.
Each course is 8 weeks in length, research has shown it takes approximately 60 days to form a new habit so 8 weeks is the perfect length! Students who would like to continue will be offered placement in new courses that offer a different curriculum than the beginner coursework.

Join our fun and engaging animal-based mindfulness workshop program for tweens, teens, and adults, designed to cultivate mindfulness, sharpen executive function skills, and develop coping strategies for daily stressors and emotions. Our unique programs feature a variety of furry friends, including gentle horses, playful goats, and cuddly guinea pigs, who bring their own calming and therapeutic benefits to the experience. Research has shown that participating in small groups is as effective as individual learning, acts as a great support system and helps develop meaningful connections with peers and our animals.
For each small group we offer we have 3 different sessions with no more than 6 people per session, tweens (11-13), teens (14-17) and adults (18+). Each course lasts about 8 weeks.

We offer individual sessions for clients who would prefer not to work in a small group or just want some extra time to further their work on the farm.
These sessions can either follow our expert designed curriculum or can be completely tailored to a clients specific needs in conjunction with our onsite therapist and theirs.
Sessions last either 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on clients needs.
